Flamengo Dominates Criciúma in 3-0 Victory
Flamengo secured a commanding 3-0 win against Criciúma in a Brazilian Serie A matchday 37 clash at Estádio Heriberto Hülse in Criciúma, Santa Catarina on December 4th. Wilton Pereira Sampaio officiated the game.
Flamengo controlled possession (62%), although Criciúma managed more shots (16 to 10). However, Flamengo’s finishing proved decisive. Giorgian De Arrascaeta opened the scoring in the 45th minute, assisted by Ayrton Lucas. Bruno Henrique extended the lead with a penalty in the 69th minute, and Luiz Araújo sealed the victory with a goal in the 84th minute, assisted by Erick Pulgar. Criciúma had 16 shots (4 on target, 6 off target) and 7 corners. Flamengo had 10 shots (6 on target, 1 off target) and 3 corners. Felipe Vizeu received a yellow card late in the match. Despite Criciúma’s efforts, Flamengo’s defense remained solid, keeping a clean sheet.
