CRB Secures Victory in Tense Match Against Athletic Club
Maceió, Alagoas – CRB defeated Athletic Club in a hard-fought match at Estádio Rei Pelé, as part of the 21st round of the Brazilian Serie B. The match, overseen by referee Rafael Rodrigo Klein, was characterized by intensity and numerous interruptions.
Although Athletic Club maintained a slight edge in ball possession (52% compared to CRB’s 48%), it was the home team that managed to translate their dominance onto the scoreboard. The only goal of the match came in the 60th minute, thanks to a strike by Dadá Belmonte.
CRB generated a higher volume of offensive play, with 20 total shots, 6 of which were on target. Athletic Club, on the other hand, only managed to generate 6 shots, with 3 directed at the opponent’s goal.
