Late Goal Saves Cracovia Krakow from Defeat Against Gornik Zabrze
Kraków, Poland – In a match held at Stadion Cracovii im. Jozefa Pilsudskiego, Cracovia Krakow and Gornik Zabrze drew 1-1 in a match for the tenth round of the Ekstraklasa. The home team, which enjoyed extensive ball possession (63%), struggled to convert their chances, registering only three shots on goal out of twelve attempts.
Gornik Zabrze, despite having less control of the game (37% possession), took the lead in the 72nd minute thanks to a goal by S. Liseth. Cracovia Krakow did not give up, and in the 89th minute, K. Zahiroleslam scored the equalizer that unleashed euphoria among the local fans.
