Coquimbo Unido suffered a home defeat against Universidad Católica in a vibrant and tense match at the Estadio Bicentenario Francisco Sánchez Rumoroso. The match, corresponding to the second round of the 2025 regular season of the Chilean Primera División, ended with a 1-0 victory for the visitors. Despite the possession advantage (62% for UC against 38% for Coquimbo), the game was marked by expulsions. First, D. Escobar of UC received two yellow cards and a red card at minute 43. Subsequently, A.E. Azocar Machuca of Coquimbo was also sent off at minute 53, following a previous yellow card to M. Fernández in the same minute.
