O’Higgins Edges Out Colo Colo in Tense Encounter at Estadio Monumental
Santiago, Chile, February 24, 2025 – O’Higgins secured a 1-0 victory over Colo Colo in a hard-fought match at the Estadio Monumental David Arellano. The game, part of the second round of the Chilean Primera División regular season, was officiated by Rodrigo Carvajal Molina and featured a high number of yellow cards.
Colo Colo dominated possession (66%), registering 18 shots (5 on target), but lacked the cutting edge in front of goal. O’Higgins, despite having only 34% possession, proved more clinical, scoring the only goal of the match in the 67th minute through Bryan Rabello, assisted by Yeferson Zapata.
