Draw at Caliente: Tijuana and Puebla Share Points
Tijuana, Mexico – In a hard-fought match at Estadio Caliente, Club Tijuana and Puebla drew, in a game marked by intensity and midfield battles. Tijuana dominated possession with 58%, constantly seeking to break through Puebla’s defense. However, the visiting team proved dangerous on the counter-attack, generating 13 shots, one more than Xolos, although just one more on target.
The match was marked by intensity, with a total of three yellow cards shown, two for Tijuana and one for Puebla. The first caution came in the 33rd minute for U. Bilbao of Tijuana, followed by others in the second half for K. Castaneda also from Tijuana and A. Ramirez of Puebla, both in the 80th minute.
Puebla made better use of set pieces, earning seven corners compared to Tijuana’s three.
