Tijuana Crushes León at Estadio Caliente
In a vibrant night at Estadio Caliente, Club Tijuana showcased their offensive prowess by decisively defeating León with a score of five to zero. From the beginning of the match, the home team set the pace, opening the scoring in the 12th minute with a goal by F. Boya, assisted by A. Vega. Shortly after, in the 16th minute, J. Porozo extended the lead. The first half concluded with a third goal by R. Inzunza in the 29th minute, after an excellent play by R. Arciga.
Despite León’s higher ball possession (52% against Tijuana’s 48%), the home team’s effectiveness was the key to the match. Tijuana capitalized on their opportunities and defended solidly.
In the second half, Tijuana’s dominance continued. E. Bullaude scored the fourth goal in the 76th minute, followed by S. Nicholson who sealed the victory with the fifth goal in the 90th minute.
