León defeats Querétaro in a thrilling encounter at Estadio Corregidora
León secured victory against Club Querétaro in a vibrant match played at the Estadio Corregidora in Santiago de Querétaro on April 5th, 2025, corresponding to matchday 14 of the Liga MX Clausura. Despite a close scoreline, León’s superiority was evident throughout the 90 minutes.
The match began at a high tempo. In the 31st minute, S. Reyes opened the scoring for León, assisted by J. Rodríguez, showcasing the effectiveness of the emerald attack. Querétaro responded quickly, equalizing in the 45th minute with a goal from A. Pérez. However, Querétaro’s joy was short-lived, as K. Escamilla received a yellow card in the same play.
