Bahia Edges Out Nacional in Close Montevideo Encounter
Bahia secured a 1-0 victory over Club Nacional in a hard-fought match at the Estadio Gran Parque Central in Montevideo. The game, part of the 2025 CONMEBOL Libertadores Group Stage – Matchday 2, was officiated by Dario Herrera from Argentina. Bahia controlled a slight edge in possession (56%).
While Nacional managed more shots on goal (13 to Bahia’s 10), Bahia proved more clinical. Erick Pulga’s 65th-minute strike proved to be the decisive goal. The first half saw yellow cards for Bahia’s Jean Lucas (11′) and Erick (45′).
