Club Guaraní defeated Independiente in a thrilling match played at the Defensores del Chaco Stadium in Asunción, corresponding to the group stage of the 2025 CONMEBOL Sudamericana. The match, refereed by Roberto Pérez Gutiérrez (Peru), ended with a 2-1 scoreline in favor of the home team.
