America Cruises to Victory Over Chivas in Concacaf Champions League Thriller
Mexico City, March 13, 2025 – Club America dominated Chivas de Guadalajara with a resounding 4-0 victory in a thrilling Concacaf Champions League Round of 16 match at Estadio Ciudad de los Deportes. The match, officiated by Walter Lopez of Guatemala, showcased America’s superior control throughout the game.
America opened the scoring in the 6th minute with a goal from Brian Rodriguez, assisted by Diego Valdés. Valdés added another goal before halftime (45th minute) without an assist. In the second half, America continued their dominance, adding two more goals: one from Álvaro Zendejas in the 65th minute (assisted by Brian Rodriguez) and another from Federico VÍdalgo in the 79th minute (assisted by Emilio Sanchez).
