Cheltenham beat Bromley in an emotional match
Cheltenham defeated Bromley 1-0 in a League Two match marked by a Bromley player’s red card and a large number of yellow cards.
In the 12th minute, Bromley’s Chris Jenkinson saw the first of his three yellow cards of the match. The second yellow card came in the 24th minute, and in the same minute Jenkinson saw red for accumulation of yellows.
The match continued at a normal pace until the 51st minute, when Ethan Archer scored the only goal of the match for Cheltenham. Archer received the ball alone in front of the goalkeeper and didn’t miss his opportunity.
Bromley tried to react, but they found a well-organized Cheltenham. In the 82nd minute, O. Sowunmi managed to score for Bromley, but the goal was disallowed for offside.
The match ended with a 1-0 result for Cheltenham, who remain undefeated at home in the League Two.
