Chelsea Thrashes Southampton 4-0 at Stamford Bridge
London, February 25, 2025 – Chelsea dominated Southampton with a convincing 4-0 victory at Stamford Bridge in a Premier League matchday 27 clash. Chelsea’s dominance was clear, reflected in their 60% possession and 19 shots (10 on target).
Christopher Nkunku opened the scoring in the 24th minute, assisted by T. Adarabioyo. Pedro Neto (36′) and Levi Colwill (44′) then extended the lead, with assists from Nkunku and Neto respectively. Marc Cucurella added the final goal in the 78th minute, assisted by T. George.
Southampton struggled to create chances, managing only 7 shots (2 on target), and Chelsea’s strong defense thwarted their efforts. Southampton received two yellow cards, while Chelsea received one.
