Chapecoense Dominates Paysandu at Arena Condá
Chapecó, Santa Catarina – Chapecoense-sc defeated Paysandu in a match held at Arena Condá, corresponding to the 22nd round of the Brazilian Serie B. With 53% ball possession, the home team controlled much of the match and generated a greater number of scoring opportunities, with 20 total shots, 7 of which were directed on target.
W. Clar was the outstanding figure of the match, scoring both goals for Chapecoense-sc. The first came in the 20th minute, after an assist from Mailton, opening the scoring and giving the home team the lead. Clar scored again in the 56th minute, extending the lead for Chapecoense-sc.
