CFR 1907 Cluj Edges out Universitatea Cluj with a Narrow 1-0 Victory in Tense Match
Cluj-Napoca, May 3, 2025.- CFR 1907 Cluj secured a 1-0 win against Universitatea Cluj in a tightly contested Liga I Championship Round match, played at the Stadionul Dr. Constantin Rădulescu. Referee Marcel Birsan oversaw a game marked by its intensity and a flurry of yellow cards.
Despite possessing less of the ball (35% compared to Universitatea’s 65%), CFR 1907 Cluj emerged victorious thanks to M. Korenica’s goal in the 35th minute.
