CF Montreal Edges Out Austin in Thrilling Match
Montreal, Quebec – In a vibrant match held at Stade Saputo, CF Montreal defeated Austin in a game corresponding to matchday 28 of Major League Soccer. The home team, with 50% possession and a constant attack, managed to prevail despite Austin’s resistance.
The score opened early, in the 9th minute, thanks to a goal by G. Synchuk, assisted by O. Escobar, putting Montreal ahead. However, Austin responded before halftime with a goal by M. The second half continued with intensity. P. Owusu extended Montreal’s lead in the 66th minute with a penalty goal. Austin did not give up, and O. Wolff scored in the 77th minute, keeping the score close until the end. The match was marked by numerous fouls, with 15 committed by Montreal and 11 by Austin, resulting in several yellow cards for both teams.
