Kyoto Sanga Stuns Cerezo Osaka in Thrilling Match
Ōsaka, Japan – In a vibrant match played at the Yodoko Sakura Stadium, Kyoto Sanga defeated Cerezo Osaka in a J1 League match corresponding to matchday 32. The visiting team showed great efficiency by converting several of its opportunities.
The first goal came in the 44th minute thanks to T. Matsuda, who took advantage of an assist from T. Hirato to put Kyoto Sanga ahead just before halftime. In the second half, Cerezo Osaka reacted and found the equalizer in the 58th minute through D. Cools, after an assist from M. Shibayama. The home side’s joy was short-lived, as S. Nagasawa, in the 87th minute, scored the winning goal for Kyoto Sanga, assisted by None.
