Cerezo Osaka Edges Out FC Tokyo in Thrilling Osaka Encounter
Cerezo Osaka secured a 2-1 victory over FC Tokyo in a captivating match at the Yodoko Sakura Stadium in Osaka, part of the J1 League 2025, Round 11. Officiated by Yudai Yamamoto, the game saw Cerezo Osaka dominate possession, controlling 56% of the ball.
Rafael Ratao opened the scoring for the home side in the 6th minute, assisted by L. Fernandes. FC Tokyo leveled the score with a 19th-minute penalty converted by K. Sato, who later received a yellow card.
