Central Córdoba Dominates Belgrano in Convincing Victory
Central Córdoba de Santiago convincingly defeated Belgrano de Córdoba by a score of 4-0 in a match played at the Estadio Único Madre de Ciudades, corresponding to the 6th round of the 2025 Argentine Professional League’s first phase. The match, officiated by N. Arasa, took place on February 15th at 10:15 PM.
Central Córdoba’s dominance was evident throughout. Their possession (61%) and superior shot count (19 to 7) reflected their control of the game. Francisco Cabral opened the scoring in the 18th minute, assisted by M. Perello. José Ignacio Florentín Bobadilla extended the lead in the 42nd minute. In the second half, Guillermo Compagnucci of Belgrano received a second yellow card and was sent off in the 57th minute. Taking advantage of the numerical superiority, Luciano Rivero scored the third goal in the 61st minute. Finally, Darío Barrera sealed the victory in the 87th minute, assisted by Germán Verón.
Belgrano, with poor finishing (only 1 shot on target out of 7 attempts), ended the match with two yellow cards and a red card for Compagnucci, and only 39% possession.
