Thrilling Draw at Balaídos Between Celta and Girona
Vigo, Spain – In a hard-fought match at the Estadio Abanca-Balaídos, Celta Vigo and Girona drew in a game that kept fans on the edge of their seats. Girona took the lead in the 12th minute thanks to a goal by V. Vanat, assisted by I. Martin. The match was marked by intensity, with several yellow cards shown, first to A. Ounahi of Girona in the 26th minute, and later to A. Frances and coach Michel, also of Girona, in the 80th and 90th minutes respectively. Despite having only 40% possession, Girona remained solid in defense.
