Barcelona suffers agonizing comeback defeat against Celta in Balaídos
Barcelona suffered an unexpected defeat in their visit to Celta de Vigo at Balaídos Municipal. Despite dominating possession (59%) and scoring two goals, the Catalans fell 3-2 in a match marked by tension and expulsions. Raphinha, assisted by Kounde, opened the scoring in the 15th minute, and Lewandowski extended the lead in the 61st minute. However, Celta reacted strongly in the final minutes. González, in the 84th minute, and Álvarez, in the 86th minute, leveled the score. The expulsion of Casado in the 82nd minute was a turning point, allowing Celta to take advantage of their numerical superiority to achieve victory with a final goal in stoppage time. The match was full of cards: five for Barcelona (including a red) and four for Celta. Despite the superiority in possession and shots on goal, the lack of concentration and expulsions cost the Blaugrana dearly.
