Ceará Wins Thrilling Match Against Grêmio
Fortaleza, Ceará – In a thrilling match played at the Estádio Governador Plácido Aderaldo Castelo, Ceará defeated Grêmio 2-0 in the second round of the 2025 Serie A. Despite Grêmio dominating possession (61%), Ceará proved more effective in front of goal.
Pedro Raúl opened the scoring in the 26th minute with a penalty. The match was marked by tension, with three yellow cards for Grêmio (Amuzu 16′, Arezo 41′, and Igor Serrote 55′) and one for Ceará (Matheus Bahia 73′).
