Atlético Mineiro Secures Victory in Tense Match Against Ceará in Fortaleza
Fortaleza, Ceará – In a hard-fought match at the Estádio Governador Plácido Aderaldo Castelo, Atlético Mineiro defeated Ceará in a game marked by tension and cards. The match, corresponding to the 11th round of the Brazilian Serie A, ended with a score of 1-0 in favor of the visiting team.
Atlético Mineiro dominated ball possession with 54% compared to Ceará’s 46%. However, Ceará generated more goal-scoring opportunities, with 14 total shots, although only 3 of them were on target. Atlético Mineiro, on the other hand, had 8 shots, 4 of which were on target.
The match was characterized by physical play and a contested midfield, resulting in numerous fouls on both sides, 15 for each team.
