Nacional Secures Victory Against Casa Pia in a Hard-Fought Match
Rio Maior, Portugal – Nacional secured an important away victory against Casa Pia in a match corresponding to the fourth round of the Primeira Liga. The match, played at the Estádio Municipal de Rio Maior, was characterized by its intensity and contested midfield play, although Nacional proved more effective in seizing their opportunities.
Paulinho Boia opened the scoring for Nacional in the 33rd minute with a goal after a well-crafted play. Shortly before halftime, J. Ramirez extended the lead with a goal in the 42nd minute, assisted by Jose Gomes, leaving Casa Pia in a difficult position.
Despite having a greater possession of the ball (62%), Casa Pia failed to convert their dominance into goals. Nacional, with 38% possession, was more effective in their approaches to the opponent’s goal. Both teams took the same number of shots (9), although Nacional managed to direct a greater number of them on target (2 compared to Casa Pia’s 3).

Casa Pia sought a comeback, but Nacional’s defense proved solid and well-organized, preventing the home team from realizing their attacks. Nacional, meanwhile, fell back and sought to maintain the lead until the end of the match.
