Canada defeats USA in thrilling CONCACAF Nations League third-place match
Inglewood, California – Canada edged out the USA 3-1 in a captivating CONCACAF Nations League third-place play-off at SoFi Stadium on March 23rd, 2025. The match, officiated by Katia García of Mexico, was marked by intensity and controversy.
Canada took the lead in the 27th minute with a goal from Tess Oluwaseyi, assisted by Jonathan David. The USA equalized in the 35th minute through a goal by Patrick Agyemang, assisted by Diego Luna.
