Cagliari defeated Monza 3-0 in a thrilling match at the Unipol Domus in Cagliari. The game, corresponding to matchday 30 of the 2024 Serie A, was decided in the second half. Nicolao Viola opened the scoring in the 49th minute, assisted by Tommaso Augello. Gianluca Gaetano extended the lead in the 73rd minute, and Zito Luvumbo sealed the victory with a goal in the 90th minute. Monza had more possession (58%), but Cagliari was more effective in attack, with 11 shots (4 on target) compared to Monza’s 12 (3 on target).
