Bucaramanga thrashes Fortaleza FC in a vibrant match
Bucaramanga achieved a resounding 4-0 victory over Fortaleza FC in a match played at the Estadio Américo Montanini in Bucaramanga. The game, corresponding to matchday 13 of the Colombian Primera A, was marked by the home team’s dominance, controlling possession and creating numerous scoring opportunities.
The goals came in the 22nd minute through Leonardo Pons, who opened the scoring with an assist from Gutierrez. Seven minutes later, Flores extended Bucaramanga’s lead with another goal, assisted by Pons. In the 73rd minute, Castañeda scored from a penalty to make it 3-0. Finally, in injury time, Jhon Vasquez added the fourth goal to seal the victory.
Fortaleza FC tried to react, but were outplayed in all aspects of the game. The visiting team received three yellow cards and created few scoring chances. Bucaramanga, on the other hand, showed absolute dominance and converted their opportunities effectively.
