Bristol City Crushes Watford in FA Cup Thrashing
Bristol, England – In an FA Cup match held at Ashton Gate Stadium, Bristol City showcased absolute dominance over Watford, sealing a resounding victory with a final score of 5 to 1. Watford managed to pull one back in the 74th minute with a goal from J. Grieves, assisted by V. Semedo, but it was an isolated effort. E. Riis completed his hat-trick in the 77th minute, assisted by G. Earthy, solidifying an outstanding performance.
Despite a higher possession percentage (53%), Bristol City capitalized on their opportunities more effectively, reflected in their 13 shots, 7 of which were on target, compared to Watford’s solitary shot on target from their 8 attempts.
