Thrilling Draw at the Amex Stadium between Brighton and Nottingham Forest
Brighton and Nottingham Forest played out a vibrant match at the Amex Stadium that ended in a draw. The match, valid for matchday 28 of the 2025 Premier League, was full of action from the initial whistle.
Brighton took an early lead, in the 6th minute, with a goal from D. Gomez assisted by P. Gross. However, Nottingham Forest’s response was not long in coming. M. Gibbs-White equalized in the 13th minute, thanks to an assist from Igor Jesus. The local joy returned in the 15th minute, when D. Welbeck scored for Brighton with an assist from J. Hinshelwood, putting the score at 2-1.
Despite Brighton’s slightly favorable dominance in possession (53% against 47%), both teams showed great intensity in attack, with 14 shots for Brighton and 13 for Nottingham Forest. Discipline was also a factor, with a total of 13 fouls for Nottingham Forest (one yellow card for E. Anderson) and 12 for Brighton (yellow cards for M. Wieffer, K. Mitoma, and L. Dunk).
