Bosnia and Herzegovina Edges Out Cyprus in Thrilling Match
Zenica, March 24, 2025 – Bosnia and Herzegovina defeated Cyprus 2-1 in a thrilling World Cup Qualification Europe Group Stage match played at the Stadion Bilino Polje. The game, officiated by Saggi, Rohit (Norway), was characterized by intensity and goal-scoring opportunities for both sides.
Bosnia took the lead in the 22nd minute with a goal from Edin Demirovic, assisted by Haris Hajradinovic. Cyprus responded with a goal from Ioannis Pittas just before halftime, assisted by Konstantinos Laifis (45′). However, Hajradinovic scored again for Bosnia in the 57th minute to secure the victory.
