Bohemians Stage Late Comeback to Defeat St. Patrick’s Athletic in Thrilling Encounter
Dublin, April 25, 2025.- Dalymount Park witnessed a thrilling encounter between Bohemians and St. Patrick’s Athletic in the 12th round of the Irish Premier Division. Despite falling behind, Bohemians staged a dramatic late comeback to secure a hard-fought victory.
St. Patrick’s Athletic took the lead in the 23rd minute with a penalty converted by C. Forrester. The match was a tense affair, with several yellow cards shown to players from both sides. A. Breslin of St. Patrick’s Athletic received two yellow cards in stoppage time, resulting in his dismissal.
Bohemians dominated possession (62%), and in the dying moments of the game, they overturned the deficit. S. Grehan scored the equalizer in the 90th minute, and moments later, R. Cornwall netted the winner, assisted by J. Clarke. The match ended 2-1 to Bohemians, after a frenetic finish.
