Blackpool and Luton Town Draw in Thrilling Encounter
Blackpool and Luton Town played out an exciting draw at Bloomfield Road. The home side, Blackpool, took an early lead thanks to a goal by C. Hamilton in the 9th minute, assisted by J. Bowler. Hamilton then doubled the lead in the 53rd minute, this time assisted by J. Brown.
Luton Town, however, refused to give up. In the 78th minute, J. Clark pulled one back for the visitors, assisted by G. Saville. Then, in added time, G. Kodua converted a crucial penalty, leveling the score at the death.
