Belize Edges out French Guiana in Thrilling CONCACAF Nations League Match
Belmopan, November 15, 2024.- Belize secured a 2-1 victory over French Guiana in a captivating match at the FFB Field in Belmopan, part of the 2024 CONCACAF Nations League Play-In Round. The game, officiated by K. Herrera, was characterized by Belize’s intensity and attacking efficiency.
Belize controlled 54% of possession, registering 16 shots, 6 of which were on target. Their dominance translated into goals from C. Bernardez in the 68th minute and E. Martinez in the 75th. Despite the advantage, French Guiana fought back, scoring a goal through T. Torvic in the 90th minute, but the comeback fell short.
