Bayern Munich Women Dominate VfL Wolfsburg in Thrilling Frauen Bundesliga Match
Bayern Munich Women secured a convincing 3-1 victory over VfL Wolfsburg at the FC Bayern Campus Platz 1 in Munich. The match, part of the 2024 Frauen Bundesliga’s 17th round, saw Bayern control 53% of possession.
Perla Harder shone, scoring two goals (13th and 47th minutes) and assisting on the third, scored by Linda Schuller in the 69th minute. Wolfsburg’s goal came in the 75th minute courtesy of Lieke Martens.
Despite the loss, Wolfsburg displayed attacking prowess, registering 13 shots (6 on target). However, Bayern’s clinical finishing and Wolfsburg’s accumulation of yellow cards (three in total) proved decisive. The referee for the match was F. Michel.
