Werder Bremen Fights Back to Draw Against Bayer Leverkusen in Thrilling Match
Werder Bremen earned a hard-fought 2-2 draw against Bayer Leverkusen in a thrilling match at the BayArena in Leverkusen. Despite Leverkusen’s dominance in possession (74%), Bremen proved more clinical in front of goal. The match began with an early goal from Romano Schmid in the 7th minute, assisted by Jens Stage.
