Barcelona Thrashes Osasuna in Dominant Display
Barcelona secured a convincing 3-0 victory over Osasuna at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys in Barcelona, in a La Liga matchday 27 clash. The home side completely controlled the game, boasting a significant advantage in possession (74%) and creating numerous scoring chances (19 shots, 5 on target).
Fernando Torres opened the scoring in the 11th minute, assisted by Alejandro Balde. Daniel Olmo doubled the lead in the 21st minute with a penalty. Robert Lewandowski added the final goal in the 77th minute, assisted by Ferran López.
Osasuna offered little attacking threat, managing only 4 shots with none on target. The visiting team received three yellow cards for fouls. Barcelona received only one. Despite Barcelona’s dominance, the match was interrupted by numerous fouls, with Osasuna committing more infringements.
