Al Wahda FC defeated Baniyas SC with a resounding 3-0 victory in a match played at the Baniyas Stadium in Abu Dhabi, corresponding to matchday 17 of the 2024 Pro League season. The game, played on February 23, 2025, was a balanced encounter in terms of possession (50% each), but Al Wahda’s attacking efficiency made the difference.
The goals came in the second half after a first half where Al Wahda had already taken the lead. First, F. Kruspzky opened the scoring in the 37th minute with an assist from Guga. Shortly after, in the 41st minute, K. Agudelo extended the lead with a pass from A. Nourollahi. Agudelo sealed the victory with his second goal in the 72nd minute, assisted by Kruspzky.
Despite Baniyas’ 12 shots, only one was on target. Al Wahda, on the other hand, had 14 shots with 5 on target. Guga received a yellow card in the 22nd minute for Al Wahda.
