Tight Match in Ayacucho Ends in a Draw
Ayacucho, Peru – In a hard-fought match at the Estadio Ciudad de Cumaná, Ayacucho FC and Sport Boys drew in a game characterized by its intensity and balance. The duel, valid for the third matchday of the Clausura of the Peruvian First Division, left spectators wanting more goals, although there was no shortage of excitement.
The match, officiated by Joel Alarcon, unfolded with a 50% split possession between both teams. Ayacucho FC tried to impose their home advantage with a total of 10 shots, but only one managed to be directed at the goal defended by the Sport Boys goalkeeper. The lack of precision in attack was evident in the six shots that went wide. Sport Boys, meanwhile, generated four scoring opportunities, with one shot on goal and two off target.
