Arouca secures narrow victory over Aves
Arouca edged out Aves 1-0 in a tightly contested match at the Estádio Clube Desportivo das Aves in Vila das Aves, Portugal. The Primeira Liga fixture, refereed by Miguel Nogueira, saw Arouca enjoy slightly more possession (58%).
Arouca created more goal-scoring opportunities, registering 19 shots (7 on target) compared to Aves’ 9 (only 1 on target). The difference in clinical finishing proved decisive in the 90th minute when Tiago Esgaio scored the only goal of the game, securing the victory for his team.
