Avispa Fukuoka Edges Out Fagiano Okayama 1-0 in J1 League Thriller
Fukuoka, Japan – Avispa Fukuoka secured a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Fagiano Okayama at Best Denki Stadium on Thursday, April 25th, in a matchday 12 clash of the 2025 J1 League. T. Ando’s early goal in the 7th minute, assisted by S. Nago, proved to be the decisive strike.
Despite significantly less possession (36% compared to Okayama’s 64%), Avispa Fukuoka proved more clinical in front of goal, registering 13 shots (6 on target). Fagiano Okayama, while dominating possession, lacked accuracy in the final third, managing only 1 shot on target from their 11 attempts.
