Red Bull Salzburg defeated Austria Vienna 1-0 in a match played at the Generali Arena in Vienna, corresponding to matchday 19 of the Austrian Bundesliga. The match, refereed by Stefan Ebner, was characterized by Austria Vienna’s greater ball possession (63%), although Salzburg was more effective in attack.
Oskar Gloukh scored the only goal of the game in the 7th minute, assisted by M. Bidstrup. Despite their possession advantage, Austria Vienna only managed two shots on target, while Salzburg, with 37% possession, had five shots on target. The match was marked by tension, with a yellow card for Salzburg’s S. Baidoo in the 4th minute, and another for Austria Vienna’s A. Dragovic in the 65th minute.
