Thrilling Draw in San Luis Potosí Marked by Own Goal and Red Card
Atlético San Luis and FC Juarez played out a thrilling draw at the Estadio Alfonso Lastras Ramírez, in a match corresponding to Matchday 16 of the Liga MX Apertura. The match, refereed by Daniel Quintero Huitrón, was intense from start to finish, with both teams searching for the win.
Atlético San Luis took the lead in the 61st minute thanks to a goal by S. Perez, following an excellent play assisted by J. Sanabria. However, the home side’s joy would not last long. An unfortunate own goal by Rodrigo Dourado in the 82nd minute leveled the score for FC Juarez. The situation became even more complicated for Atlético San Luis when Dourado himself received a red card in the 85th minute.
In added time, and with a man advantage, FC Juarez managed to turn the score around with a goal by O. Estupinan in the 90th minute, assisted by A. Mayorga. The match ended with a division of points.
