Goiânia, Goiás – A vibrant match at the Estádio Antônio Accioly ended in a draw between Atlético Goianiense and Ferroviária. The match, corresponding to the 22nd round of the Brazilian Serie B, was a festival of emotions from the initial whistle.
Ferroviária opened the scoring early, in the 21st minute, thanks to a goal by Edson Lucas assisted by Fabricio Daniel. Atlético Goianiense did not back down and sought the equalizer insistently. However, in the 29th minute, F. Martinez missed a crucial penalty for the home side.
