Atlas and FC Juárez played a thrilling match at the Estadio Jalisco in Guadalajara on April 5th, 2025, for matchday 14 of the Liga MX Clausura. The match, refereed by Adonai Escobedo González, was decided by a narrow margin in favor of Atlas.
Despite FC Juárez controlling possession (53% to 47%), it was Atlas that secured the victory with a goal in each half. The first goal came in the 49th minute through Guilherme Castilho for the visitors, while Atlas’s response arrived in the 67th minute thanks to a goal by M. Coccaro, assisted by J. Lozano.
The game was characterized by tension, with a total of seven yellow cards shown to both teams. Atlas accumulated three cautions (Aguirre, Serrato, and Coccaro), while FC Juárez received four (Torres Ramírez, Campillo Del Campo). Both teams created goal-scoring opportunities, with Atlas registering eight shots (two on target) and FC Juárez twelve (four on target). However, finishing proved decisive in Atlas’s win. The corner kick difference was also notable, with four for FC Juárez and none for Atlas. In short, a hard-fought and exciting match that ended with a 2-1 victory for Atlas.
