Athletic Club Edges Out Atlético Madrid in Tense San Mamés Clash
Bilbao, Spain – In a match filled with tension and cards, Athletic Club defeated Atlético Madrid with a late goal from Álex Berenguer in the 85th minute, assisted by Nico Williams. The encounter, played at the San Mamés Stadium, was marked by intensity in midfield and constant interruptions.
From the outset, the game was characterized by physical and contested play.
