Asteras Tripolis Stages Comeback Victory Against OFI
Tripoli, Greece – Asteras Tripolis pulled off a thrilling comeback win against OFI Crete at the Stadio Theodoros Kolokotronis, securing a 2-1 victory. The match, part of the Super League 1 Conference League Play-off Group – 3, was a fiery affair with a total of 7 yellow cards.
OFI took the early lead with a 14th-minute penalty converted by M. Bakic. However, Asteras Tripolis fought back, equalizing in the 35th minute through A. Chatzigiovanis. N. Gioacchini then scored the winner for the home side in the 49th minute.
