AS Roma thrashed Monza 4-0 in a dominant display at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome. The match, part of the 2024 Serie A’s 26th round, took place on February 24th, 2025, under the watchful eye of referee Fabio Maresca. Roma completely controlled the game, enjoying 65% possession and registering 23 shots, 6 of which were on target. The goals came early, with Saelemaekers opening the scoring in the 10th minute, assisted by Shomurodov, who himself scored the second in the 32nd minute thanks to an assist from Soule. In the second half, Roma continued their dominance, with Angelino extending the lead in the 73rd minute and Cristante sealing the victory with a goal in the 88th minute. Monza, with only 35% possession and just 4 shots, offered little threat to the home side. A yellow card to Bianco was the only setback for the visiting team. A resounding victory for Roma, solidifying their position in the league table.
