Arouca Claims Home Victory Against a Depleted Nacional
Arouca, Portugal – The Estádio Municipal de Arouca witnessed a resounding victory for Arouca over Nacional in a match marked by cards and local dominance. Despite Nacional managing to generate a higher number of shots, ball possession clearly favored Arouca with 61%.
The first half passed without goals, but the second act was an explosion of emotions. Just after the start of the second half, A. Trezza opened the scoring for Arouca in the 47th minute, assisted by H. Lee. The situation became even more complicated for Nacional when C. Labidi was sent off in the 51st minute after receiving a second yellow card.
