Aris Thessalonikis Edges Out Panetolikos in Thrilling Encounter
Aris Thessalonikis secured a 2-1 victory over Panetolikos at the Stadio Harilaou Kleánthis Vikelídis in Thessaloniki on February 23rd, 2025. The match, part of the 24th round of the Greek Super League 1, saw Aris dominate possession (58%) and shots on target (9 compared to Panetolikos’ 1).
Luis Morón opened the scoring for Aris in the 13th minute, assisted by Monchu. Monchu himself doubled the lead for Aris in the 30th minute with an unassisted goal. Panetolikos fought back in the second half, pulling one back through S. Diaz in the 61st minute, assisted by A. Tetteh, but Aris held on for the win.
