Barracas Central defeated Argentinos Juniors in a tense match at the Estadio Diego Armando Maradona. The game, corresponding to matchday 24 of the second phase of the 2024 Argentine Professional League, played on November 26th in Buenos Aires, ended with a 1-0 victory for Barracas Central. The only goal of the match was scored by Mateo Duarte in the 42nd minute, assisted by Iván Tapia. The match was marked by the indiscipline of Argentinos Juniors, who received four yellow cards and one red card to Kevin Coronel, leaving their team with one man less for a large part of the second half.
